off Shoe Brands

There are many shoe brands on the market today.  It is basically the name of the company that manufactures the specific shoe such as the most popular sports shoe manufactures Nike and Reebok.  The company places its trademark logo on the shoe and it is often a statement of status to wear an expensive brand of shoes.

Depending on the need of the average consumer, shoe manufacturing companies design and distribute shoes in various shapes, sizes and styles.  These include sports shoes, such as those worn by basketball, football and tennis players, athletic shoes, for track athletes and the serious jogger, as well as shoes meant for style rather than comfort, such as those made by fashion designers like Jimmy Choo and Dior.

One of the main reasons that shoes are so popular is due to the obvious fact that every person in the world has to wear a pair of shoes at some point or another, from the youngest child on their first day of school, right down to the elderly lady that does her weekly shopping.  That does not however account for the vast amount of money that people spend on designer shoes, even if they don’t necessarily need them.

The reason most of us are willing to spend hundreds of our hard earned dollars on a single pair of shoes is because of today’s media.  If a celebrity sports hero is photographed wearing a pair of Nike trainers, all of his or her fans is obviously going to want a pair of the same.

For this reason, companies such as Reebok, Nike, Jimmy Choo, Guess and many others often seek out celebrities, from both film and sports, to wear their specific brand of shoe.

Who doesn’t want to be famous?  For the most of us, its not possible so we settle instead for wearing what other celebrities do.

That isn’t always the case though.  Sometimes shoes are bought for other reasons.  If you had a career in personal training for example, you would need a sports shoe that could support that.  Thus you might turn to someone like Nike for the perfect trainer as they are known for producing quality sports wear.

Similarly if you worked at a fashion magazine as another example you would want a stylish shoe that would compliment your wardrobe.  Therefore you might opt for a stiletto form a recognized designer from whom you know you will receive both style and some measure of comfort.

This is of course just the top of the range shoe brands, and there are very many other, less expensive shoes available that offer virtually the same for your feet as what the above mentioned would.  But, as with all other things in this life, the quality and status you receive from these lesser know manufacturers is compromised when you are paying less.  Even though the end result may be more or less the same.  We may not all be able to afford top of the range Prada stilettos, or Adidas running shoes, but as far as those cute Plum stilettos and old Kustom trainers go, they seem to pretty much do the job.

And so, in conclusion, everyone needs shoes, no matter who you are. The only difference between us is those who can, and those who can’t afford to wear expensive shoe brands.
