These shoes by Prince have brought a new level of quality to value priced shoes. Prince has long been known for their dedication to producing comfortable and quality footwear, this particular edition continues that legacy. The T22 are a great improvement in the durability department. The previous T11 saw some complaints about wearing out too fast, so Prince has responded by creating a tougher out sole and toe material. These improvements have come with minimal cost to comfort and weight, creating a top notch shoe for both beginners and famous players in tennis.
Best Attributes of the Prince T22 Shoe
Durability is right at the top of the list. Playing on hard courts is a sure way to blow through any pair of tennis shoes, but the Prince T22 hold their own. If you do happen to break through the out sole before 6 months is up, never fear, Prince will actually replace the shoes and provide you with a brand new pair. After extensive play testing though, it isn’t likely you’ll be able to wear these out unless you are a serious competitive player. Another great attribute of the shoe is the comfort and fit. It fits snugly and provides plenty of cushioning in the mid sole to absorb harsh shock from the court. There is almost no break in period for these shoes, the soft upper material and insole ply very easy to an individuals foot.
Problems With the T22
The T22 fits a bit wider than most shoes do. If you have a very narrow foot, chances are that this shoe might end up being a bit too wide. For medium or wide feet the shoe should fit great, but it’s best to judge by your previous shoe models. The only other real downside is that the shoes aren’t cosmetically the best. The look is a bit boring, but it does go well with a more classic tennis look.
This pair of Prince tennis shoes is one of the best they’ve released in a long time. Give the T22′s a try and don’t be surprised when they replace even your favorite pair of Nike shoes.
